Our booth at Origins was absolutely packed with demoers and we were excited to share the game with them for the first time!
What a weekend!
We went to Origins Game Fair with a simple goal: introduce our fast-paced card battler, Riftblade, to the world. We left with over 400 new Riftblades ready to join the fight.
The energy at our booth was electric all weekend, and we're still buzzing from it. Here’s a look back at an unforgettable debut for The Gambit Foundry and our incredible new community.
Over 400 Future Riftblades Join the Cause
9 or 90? Seasoned Deckbuilder or First Timer? Players from all over just couldn’t get enough of this fast-paced dueling deckbuilder!
Throughout the convention, our booth was buzzing with activity. Players of all stripes—seasoned deckbuilding duelists, curious onlookers, and brave first-timers—sat down to try Riftblade. Demo tables filled quickly, games moved fast, and we heard the same thing again and again: “I can’t wait for the Kickstarter.”
Even more humbling was that almost 50% of you who became instant supporters. By becoming a Founder with a $1 donation, you’re not just getting an exclusive holofoil mini-expansion—you're casting a vote of confidence that helps us know exactly when to launch the campaign.

Art That Casts a Spell
The high-detail card art looks fantastic on anyone’s wall.
It wasn't just the gameplay that drew people in; it was the visual soul of Riftblade. Watching players' eyes light up as they saw the original artwork on our prints, pins, and dice trays was incredible. You weren't just learning a game; you were connecting with its world.
Missed out on the merch? Don't worry. We set aside a few of these items, and they’ll be available as add-ons during the Kickstarter campaign and eventually in our webstore.

In the whirlwind of Saturday's excitement, our digital signup sheet ran into a technical gremlin and one of our files was corrupted. This means we’re missing the contact info for about 45 of our new friends, including several who became Founding members.
